Brightness Is Sure To Beckon

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

The twisted tyrannical view ensues
Born to barely get by and surely lose
The darkness will never blot the Sun out
A middle finger up to abuse
It's like finding that final ticket tout
I'm talking about brightness that is sure to beckon
Let's conduct a survey
How many actually believe in Heaven?
I can stay up late but usually sound asleep by 11
Walk with me and become my breadren

some people fight to curate their reality
rest of us, realise early enough
better to invest in those dream
    escapades...
what's the point of a heaven
    for a child, which died
after a single breath of life
    or another who was abused
till forced to take their own life
    ..
    how about we shelve heaven
    and settle for a reality
    devoid of child cruelty!
    for fck sake

Great comment, hey I do believe but also agree with your train of thought. Everything is backwards here.
