Journey of Life

Kathryn Amaka

Life, an enigma wrapped in mystery,

A journey that lasts a lifetime, yet so fleeting,

A precious gift, a wondrous creation,

Full of joy and wonder, pain and frustration.

From the moment we awaken to our first sunrise,

Until the day we bid this world goodbye,

We strive to find our purpose, our place,

To love and be loved, to leave our mark on time and space.

In the depths of despair, we seek the light,

And find the strength to carry on and fight,

Through the darkest night, we hold tight,

To the hope that tomorrow will be bright.

Life is a tapestry, woven with threads,

Of moments and memories, joy and tears shed,

A symphony of love, laughter and sorrow,

A rich and complex tapestry we'll never fully know.

So let's embrace each day with a grateful heart,

And cherish those we love, before we depart,

For life is a precious gift, a fleeting glimpse,

A chance to make a difference, to leave behind a lasting imprint.
