The Butterfly
Butterflies and bees,
Fly amongst the flowers.
I could just sit here,
And, watch them for hours.
The colors in the garden,
Particularly, the butterfly.
I take a deep breath,
And then, an appreciative sigh.
The beauty on its wings,
With a pattern of perfection.
I understand why people,
Show their affection.
It is amazing to me,
This one traveled so far.
I’m so fortunate,
He’s in my backyard.
