No words

sorenbarrett

All smoke

dissipating mist

things that were spoke

the promise that was kissed

the things you hold dear

the tongue so weak

the heart wails with a tear

unable to write what I can't speak

    ''Verba volant, scripta manent''
    that's why we ink, endure
    one more scribbled syllable
to stain existence with our worth
    validate, this amalgamation
of breath, laughter, tears, pain, love
    and so much more
    as a life, lived
with all we had to give!
onwards, 'and miles to go before we sleep'
till that bell toll lets us know
we've done enough, time to rest...
    onwards, my kind friend
    stay strong!
