Painted in colours

The Dreamer

Another morning charming as always and heart warming
I walk out of my shell to see the world dwell
The sky so vast painted red by the sun's cast
The ever so gentle breeze that is rare to see in this hot weather that somehow stil makes me sneeze
The view is brilliant and the experience is priceless
My dog besides me he walks sometimes annoying but likes it when I talk
I enjoy the time that I spend on this walk and hold it dear
For i know how much it brightens my coming years

  • Comment from author about the poem: This was my first step in the world of poetry which was a few months back. This poem is quite close to my heart, even though I feel like it needs a lot of refinement I still decided to make it my first post. And yeah the title "Painted in colours" was actually something that came naturally, like when I finished the poem I already knew this should be the title. I think the element that awakened my "poetic side" was that red artistically painted sky which just compelled me to appreciate it using my words.
