TO DANI

nephilim56

You humble me
Within a chuckle
Safe in my arms
So small yet holding power
To frighten me..overrule me
Nothing hurts like your tears.

I am lost in middle age
Fear, insecurity and doubt
Until you embrace, trust and love me
Unable to judge me.

Knowing when I breathe my last
You will not understand
But may wonder and ask why
The man I remember vaguely
The fool who entertained me
Where has he gone ?
