When I’m alone
When I’m quiet
The memories call softly 
When I’m broken
On the verge of tears 
The memories call softly
When my life knows only chaos
When the rain falls from the sky
When the stillness has escaped me
When my heart can only ask why
The memories call softly
With so many different voices 
With so many different words
With so much happiness, anguish, fear
They will not go unheard
