Tune: Louvan
('Lord of all being, throned afar')
Psalm 9 v.7-11 & v.16
********
The Lord shall endure for ever
His power, might ceases never
And He has prepared His throne for
Judgement, it be true and just sure
He shall judge all in righteousness
Show His justice in uprightness
To the people, and also will
Be a refuge for oppressed still
A help to them in their troubles
They that know Him, each stands, not falls
They will put their trust in Him, He
Has not forsaken seekers, see
Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells
In Zion, so each tongue it tells
Among the people His doings
So worship to Him each one brings
The Lord is known by the judgement
He has carried out, it He sent
The wicked are snared in work of own
Hands, brought it on themselves alone

No believer here but I know a proper and sincere hymn when I see it! A beautiful expression of your faith. Oh, and love those little critters... hamsters or conga eels, whatever they are!
Thanks J. Arrgghhh, not hamsters, or they would be giant mutant ones. They are guinea pigs, or GPDs - guinea pig dudes!
Dear Orchi,
…forsaken we are not…
…abandoned we are not…
Thank you for sharing today’s hymn/poem.

Thanks L.
if that's all it is, then I've not much to worry about ... perhaps 🙂
Thanks N.
They've forsaken me, abandoned me. Why? I started singing! lol.
