Prepare

Theodore Zendarski

Say the word, if you'll be free

Accept their blame, to be like Me

With opened eyes, you shall see

Lay bare your soul, on bended knee

For but a price, I surrendered My life

My peace exchanged, for all their strife

My heart pierced deep, as if by knife

Nailed upon a cross, their hate so rife

But on your own, you cannot obtain

A place within, the eternal domain

So deeply strive, steady course maintain

And from all vice, you must refrain

Humbly enter, the worthy chase

Abandon all, the filth and base

Implore My grace, for your sins to erase

Only then will you see, the Father's face

  • Comment from author about the poem: Prepare says do not participate in what the world says and does. Stick to the narrow path and trust in Jesus for your salvation.
