An Extra Pint of Happiness

Rohan Regi

I yearn to travel back in time,

To relive moments so sublime.

Mistakes I made, chances I missed,

Haunt me like ghosts from the mist.

Some say be content with what you've got,

But my heart desires an extra shot

Of happiness, so pure and true,

To heal wounds old and new.

They say I talk too much, it's true,

But what I needed to say, I never knew.

The words left unsaid, now I regret,

Haunted by thoughts I can't forget.

In this state of helplessness, I confess,

I long for that extra pint of happiness,

To fill the void and ease the pain,

And bring joy to my heart again.
