In Memory Of Late Gen. Richard S. Witcomb

Kinsley Lee

As a general, did his best, and made a contribution for supplying during the war,
Stepping out of the military, he exerted himself for the needy after the war,
And living Korea, to orphans and the injured, he lived as both a parent and a friend.
He's born in the United States, but living for Korea, he's resting in Korea as a friend.

I had heard the name but not the whole story....we need more people like General Witcomb, to connect the peoples of the world, to bind the wounds of the past, and give hope to new generations. He must have loved your country beyond words. Thanks for honoring him.

      Hi! Jarcher54
He was not only a general but also social worker, he did many things to reconstruct Korea, try to found the Busan General hospital, Busan National University. We must not forget him, but very few people remember him, it's the reason I wrote. Thank you so much!
