Struggle

Noparedon

Once a brave man,

Now torn apart in chains,

Failing to escape the dungeon of darkness,

Now forced to live in eternal pain.

Lying down, angry,

His master pulls out his whip,

Filled with great regret,

Wishing he had jumped off the ship.

Time would pass,

Friends were gone,

But the man was still standing,

Like an uncaptured pawn.

He made it to the end,

Gaining more strength along the way,

Slave no more!

The golden trail was here to stay.
