tree in the field

Raghav Sharma

I walk beside it, it feels refreshing

there's something beautiful in that tree

alone, flourished, beautiful, sad

in the lonely field, i take care of it

it's beauty never fades away

the tree enjoys in the pleasant sun

I enjoy it's shade and it's beautiful leaves

When the sun goes behind it

it's leaves bloom so good

and i sit

A warmly penned poignant homage, to a leafy friend Raghav.

Such a tribute reminds me of the tree that was sickeningly and illegally cut down at Sycamore Gap near Hadrian's Wall.

I consider myself lucky to live near woodland, and being a Nottinghamshire lad, I am not that far from the Mighty Oak in Sherwood.

Sorry that you miss your tree, but I hope that you can make more leafy friends.

Bravo, and I hope all is well.
