Longing did not cease, and her beloved, never came again.

  • Comment from author about the poem: K.J. and Nancy were Australians. They met in Japan and married, but after the honeymoon, K.J. departed to Korean War, she waited him. She had waited him for sixty years and met him again at UN cemetery in Korea. Now they are resting in the same house in Busan.
