A blackbird stands with a rainbow
evenings sky with upbeat colours warm colours
she stands with the colours that she can never wear on her dress
In company with a rainbow of friendly feelings
she stands in black
missing more upbeat colours on her dress
yet is she dancing within
evenings song singing
on the outside of her
missing rainbows on her dress
yet happy to have a rainbow as a friend who softly speaks of warmth and seven different colours to the one she wears every day
Yet the blackbird sings softly as if rainbows lived within
standing by a friend who resembles all that lives within her heart

Really liked writing this one so Iām glad it was enjoyed š
I brought me tree in from the garden. It looked cold in Winter. Is it OK to put it outdoors again now? A huge pine tree, not a bonsai tree. lol.
Lol nice to take care of a tree .. sure it would be unhappy in the cold / or even too humid days
It's been a bit crowded indoors you see, with the huge pine tree. How on earth did I get it in the house? We're all covered in pine needles. lol.

I actually really liked writing this one
You know , I think that even when we may be feeling a bit sad that sad person may be very kind .. and we all need those ā friendly feelings ā or even friends / help from ourselves or something outside of us to make us feel better .. sometimes
And sometimes we feel like we are missing something within ourselves / or in our lives

i wonder what the difference could be between writing about a blackbird - a song bird- and a black bird such as a raven or a crow. would the same lighthearted words become more sinister? it is strange how a single space bar can change connotations. Despite that my love- i love this piece dearly
