Hi Johnette...please pray for me

I'm at the age of sixty-nine, pushing seventy.

 

I watch you on You Tube daily

And listen to you on WJTA Holy Family Radio...also daily

I love your smile and your on-air/online cheerfulness too

I'm retired and seemingly stuck at the house, yet I do some volunteer work too.

 

I'm a volunteer for Catholic radio

And a pilgrim to Our Lady of Consolation Shrine up in Carey, Ohio

Been going there since 1999

But lately haven't been there for quite some time.

The mrs is worried about me because I have dementia since last year

And is afraid I may wreck my car...and she demands that I stay at home

I feel as if she is overprotecting me...just as my mom did when I was a kid on the farm

And driving on the interstate by myself she now considers it a crime.

 

I feel so blessed when I drive up to Carey

On the Holy Feast Day of the Assumption of Mary.

I'm planning to carpool this year with my Cursillo/Ultreya group this year.

And desperately need healing from this Alzheimers curse

Please pray for me and my wife...and alleviate her from her ongoing fear!
