snail is on a slow walk
living her way walking a pavement walking on soft grass
almost as if like the soft breeze treading lightly in this world
Just being herself
she can never be like the cat running in fun or the butterfly flying from fence to fence wandering by the blue
birds singing
She’s just a snail walking in slow motion being her simple self
Because there is no other way
Accepting of her snail ways
sighing at the birds and butterfly’s
the cats running in fun
because she wishes to be something more sometimes
a squirrel allowed to play in the leaves of a tree
a butterfly with more wings for life
Is she happy
Can she be ok simply walking the grass and pavement every single day
Never able to fly like the butterfly sometimes wandering from flower to flower, in the blue sky

A fine write V.
I help her/him on rainy days. I put them on to grass if they are crossing a pavement. Well, it's like crossing a motorway for them.
Thanks for the comment , orchidee ))
Yeah , sure they would be happier on the grass
Glad you liked my poem
I think there is are a couple of important message contained herein .. 1) the grass is not always greener & 2) sometimes we just have to make the most of what we've got .. I liked it a lot .. Neville πππ
Hi Neville .. yeah , and can the snail be happy being the only thing she can ever be , lol .. within and with her life . I guess itβs sad .. in a way ..
I think sometimes we canβt help but compare / or want more sometimes .. and we can feel sad if we see others with things that maybe we want
Glad you enjoyed my poem π
Your right sometimes we have to try and make the most of what we have .. or try but it can be difficult sometimes
Maybe self love might help
You aint wrong VB .. in fact, you are write .. write on π·
A much slower
Therefore more enjoyable stroll through nature
