Protection Professings

Tune: Heathlands

('God of mercy, God of grace')

Psalms 90, 91, 92 parts

************

Teach us to number our days

Set ourselves to know your ways

Lord, that we may apply our

Hearts to wisdom, be not far

From us, we pray in life's span

You have granted unto man

The Lord, my refuge, fortress

Trusting that He will us bless

He our God, His help we need

We His sheep, He does us feed

Safe in Him we shall abide

In our hearts He does reside

For matters of every day

His angels shall in our ways

Keep us, He shall give them charge

Over all things, small or large

His protection daily known

And through troubles His grace shown

You, O Lord, have made us glad

Through your works, we stay not sad

O Lord, how great your works are

Everything near or far

And your thoughts are very deep

You shall tend us and us keep
