Petals of Her Beauty

Petrichor of Love

Within a realm of enchantment, I saw a maiden fair,
Her loveliness, an ethereal glow, beyond compare.
With each graceful stride she took, a fragrance divine,
Her presence, a symphony of love's sweetest sign.

Her visage, radiant as the morning sun,
Her eyes, twin orbs of sparkling sapphire spun.
Her lips, like petals of the rarest rose,
In their allure, a tale of passion it shows.

Drawn closer by her enchanting grace,
I yearned to touch the essence of her embrace.
But as my fingertips caressed her tender frame,
She turned to petals of roses, a fleeting flame.

In awe I stood, as the petals gently fell,
Whispering the tale of a dream's farewell.
For she was but a vision, a wistful apparition,
A fleeting beauty, a figment of my heart's ambition.

Now I wander, haunted by that fleeting dream,
A reminder of love's transient gleam.
But in my heart, her memory forever stays,
A testament to the beauty that forever sways.

For in that realm of enchantment, I found,
A glimpse of love's magic, forever profound.
Though she faded as Rose petals by gentle sway,
Her essence lingers, in my heart's eternal display.
