Hedgehog by a tree

Violet bluebell( used to be yellow rose)

A hedgehog lives by a tree

she lives in all her hedgehog ways

and  walks with a softness below her lighthearted feet that are made of cotton wool

she walks with small clouds

makes gentle steps on the green smiles below her

peace walks

peace stands

peace sits

cotton wool feet smile

she stands by a tree with four friendly feet

segments of the sky living with her , walking with her

cotton clouds travelling in each and every step she takes in this world

the tree talks , the tree stands

by hedgehogs side with leaves listening , never to walk away from those sensitive feet

when she has those moments when she just wants to be

and she just wants to stand

resting her little cotton wool feet on the soft greens

accepting of her ways

      Thankyou peto 🙂

      Hedgehogs are lovely

Had one in the garden quite a while back , I think it was a baby hedgehog and it was walking around the garden a lot of the day then at one point saw it sleeping in the corner .

      Yeah they look friendly

      Appreciate the comment

Such a tenderness in this I absolutely adore hedgehogs although I don't get to see them so much. We have other wildlife here like wild boar 🐗 X

      Ahh lovely write V.
We too have a regular hedgehog. We have a rat that visits too - eek! It dashes off quick.

oh I so relate dear Poet
but for me it's a Squirrel family
I see from Spring to Autumn
every year, I call them 'beginning'
      because they represent
the start of nature's beautiful seasons
      'peace walks
      peace stands
      peace sits
      cotton wool feet leaping
      making me smile serene'
forgive me for tweaking your words
      a little, but i love
the pure poetic feel of your lines
      they portray
      an innate understanding
      and oneness with nature
      another delightful read
      thank you!
