Puzzle Piece

PoeticBiscuit

I just want to hold you,

And remember the way,

Your body fit so perfectly,

Within my arms.

The way we’d interlock,

Like puzzle pieces,

So perfectly intwined,

When did we become,

So misshapen?

To the point,

That your piece-

No longer fits within mine?

    nothing like realising
    you're missing a puzzle piece
    at the very end
that bold patch in your masterpiece
like, that shrapnel core in your heart
    making you implode, self-destruct
and feel like you'll never be whole
    again..
    (i so relate, dear poet
    thanks for sharing)
