Words That Cost

Introverted Sage

Staving off the pain.
How many more hits can I take.
Damned if I don't walk away.
Moments demanding my stay.

These spheres and the games that they play.
Takes knowing to sense the mistakes.
Seeing the world in that way.
Lends to the words that I say.

Darkness inflicting the pain.
Knowing just what parts to take.
Ready to now walk away.
No excuses or reasons to stay.

Mind tricks no longer at play.
Reality now shows the mistakes.
Seeing a soul in that way.
Lends more and more I can say.

Sounds like a decision has been made
When you can see a soul you gotta trust your instincts
    Always a meaty read

    Absorbing

      Thank you graciously!
Very true.. instincts seldom prove wrong.
I appreciate your read and comment!
