I Can't Forget About You

Richard Martin

I Can’t Forget About You      by Richard Martin         188

I tried so hard to forget you, but that’s not so easy to do

Your smiling face is on my mind, and I can’t forget about you

I know I would feel much better if I could start my life anew

But your memory’s there to haunt me, and I can’t forget about you

Tonight tears fill my eyes dear, for the love that I hold true

Though I know you’ll never loved me, I can’t forget about you

I can’t forget about you dear, no matter what I do

Though I know you never loved me, I can’t forget about you

I dream of you at night dear, those pretty eyes of blue

And I know that you don’t want me, but I can’t forget about you
