Do I Care? Yes I Do!

DrichThePoet

I'm broken within and I'm fiddling to put up the statue of a man.

You see my absence and you never demand an usher.

To check a roll call.

Did we just fight? Or did you just claim right?

I have no one to call

That's why I have always tried to go easy on myself

But if it seems that the path I took, took a toll on you.

My bad. I'm sorry.

Intentions of hurt were never part of the bargain.

All the way I had to sacrifice time that I should be here,

In accumulating the geek of Pharaoh

I said I don't want to be looked down upon

That's why I chose to remain silent and on a steady move.

Tell me what to do to fix these callus ventures I embarked on.

The tales they told me about becoming

A man was too good to be left unpracticed and undented

Thou art know I care about thee

Temptious times may come

But still will choose you

A lot is passing through me

Confused me is passing through a lot

I don't need to be queried why

Alone and trembling on my bed of sleepless nights.

I still crave this union to be strong and not brittle.

I'm still here for you.

If ever you want someone to lean on You k

now where you would find me.

  • Comment from author about the poem: To all those doubting and never really cared to see what's the cause of my absence. I have taken a time off from my world just to make you happy but it seems the "when you have what you want, you'd want more" is true. Friendship is a good thing and an important part of life. But sometimes for you to show how grateful you are , it usually leads to you outdoing yourself and some times most don't appreciate it. If you are happy I'm happy too. It has thaught me that there is more to life than just waking up and being busy all day long. So I say to you, make time for someone today, surprise someone today. Some are hollow pain and would never say it out loud. Sometimes it's good to hear and know from someone how they are fairing. All fingers are not equal and so you being okay doesn't mean they are also ok. They rate at which depression is taking lives and leaving us with memories and regret is becoming too much. Sometimes a little " how are you can make a difference for them, for me!☺️". This poems speaks for me and everyone who is trying day to day in and out to be there for thier friends. Its not easy but sure that lits a little hope in them to know that can talk to us. Especially the men who don't speak up. Let's be there for one another ok. This poem shouldn't be posted now but it had to be said out loud πŸ“’ and clear. Show them you'd love them and prove it. Remember all it takes is a little "Hi"πŸ˜‰.
