Ignorant bliss

fionatr15

I long for day's of innocence.

Of blissful ignorance.

Of shouting into the wind.

Not a care in the world.

Longing to grow up

Only to realise the older you get.

The Vail falls.

The curtain drops.

And you see the world in all it's ugliness.

The pain consumes you.

And you realise most people walk through life in an ongoing battle with themselves.

The pain of the world slowly pulling them down until there just a shell of a person.

Aimlessly wandering.

Longing for.

Childhood innocence
