In me is Inanna, the Goddess of sex

As her, I want to bind all of my lovers
Relish every touch as they come closer.
In me is Oshun. Goddess of love
Fluid like the water glides our twosome.
Come in deeper, surrender to the feminine.

- Comment from author about the poem: This past year, I've found freedom in myself and my body. I've had an Eating Disorder for the past 8 years and was diagnosed with Quiet BPD last year. This year has been symbolic and impactful in my life, where I've finally treated my mental health, found comfort in my relationships, and most importantly found comfort in my relationship with myself and my body. I've stepped into womanhood with a clear vision of who I am, and who I'm growing into becoming. I want to acknowledge this by celebrating what it means to me to be a woman free in her own body, sexuality, and power, while bringing a contribution to some of the Goddesses from ancient Greek, Mesopotamian, and Yoruba Mythology. For luck - I'm publishing this on Aphra Behn's Birthday!!
