How did you spend that extra second we had one year?
I made the most of it - sailed round the world 3,475 times; ran 8,593 marathons; and sang 6,496 songs - all in that second! lol.
I can't calculate if I would be able to do all that at the speed of light.
windswept, from but a blink
squinting through life, hoping
choices come with marks
for intent..
and we roll our dice, to find
our place upon nature's sands..
(I so relate, dear Poet
loving the complexity
in your wordplay layers)
Good and even noble intentions, I've learnt from both ends, when acted upon become glowing elixirs of life and otherwise a paving of dreams and even delusion. You are so correct there! Thanks L.B.
