Asking the void

Wyster

How long will it take

for the heart to heal again?

for the crying days to end?

for the mind to rebuild itself?

How many days will it be

of never-ending headaches?

of successive heartbreaks?

of torture being labeled as love?

How many minutes do I have

before my face turns dead?

before the floor turns red?

before my bed becomes my grave?

How many weekends are to come

of temporary bliss?

of a fragile heaven kiss?

of a dream we'll wake up soon?

How many verses will I write

about being hurt by love?

about not being heard anymore?

about losing hope in you?
