Rings are round things, some are finger ware,

worn as to adorn a particular digit on either or hand,

a band worn to symbolize a bond,

a pledge or vow,

a promise made now

and for as long as it's worn,

wedding bands,

both bond and vow are agreements,

said we as the citizenry to the wedded

by way of a proxy,

a preacher, priest, minister, rabbi,

someone from the Clergies

or a qualified third party,

plus an affidavit from the civil authorities,

identify the participants,

a statement of facts is presented, recognized,

a-sworn to and forever more carried forth

as a united entity,

a brand new living thing.
