A heart's cry...

Bitter-Sweet

Sometimes, heart cries but eyes do not,

A silent pain, too deep to be caught.

Within the depths, emotions reside,

Unspoken sorrows we strive to hide.

The heart, a chamber of aching woe,

Whispers of sadness it longs to bestow.

But on the surface, a mask we wear,

To shield the world from our despair.

In solitude though, tears gently fall,

Within the soul, they etch their call.

A river unseen, in the depths it flows,

Yet, on the surface, a smile still shows.

For tears may often stain our weary face,

But their absence leaves an empty space.

A cry unheard, a secret we keep,

In the shadows of night, our pains seep.

Yet in these tears that never find release,

Strength emerges a silent inner peace.

Through pain and sorrow, the heart finds its way,

To heal and rise with each passing day.

So let the heart cry its silent song,

For within the tears, we grow strong.

Though eyes may be dry, emotions run deep,

A hidden truth that our souls shall keep.
