Love and Heartbreak

nix :)

Love and heartbreak are two sides of the same coin

With a very thin line between them

When I realised I was in love with you

I spent about a week traversing that new territory

Before I crossed that thin line

Into the semi-familiar territory that is heartbreak

I've had my heart broken before

But not as bad as this time

This time, my heart has shattered in millions of pieces

And been fixed

Before being beaten to within an inch of it’s life

When it is shattered into a million pieces all over again

This heartbreak has so much pain attached to it

And it won't disappear until I stop loving you

But that won't happen soon
