'Under dark rain clouds of summer
And blowing a howling gale.....'
That's put a dampener on it! Doh! lol.
Wet summer, damper and Earl Grey....
Earl Grey tea - bleeuurrggh! Smells - and tastes - like perfume - if we've ever drank perfume?!
I guess... grew up with it, along with sarsaparilla and licorice lol
The delights of summer are ever with us, perhaps as shadows of our summer's past. Beautifully versed dear poet.
