Pages of Us

Rohan Regi

My heart overflows with words,
As I reminisce about our time together.
It occurs to me to immortalize our story,
To pen down those moments, indescribable and precious.

A book about us, a daunting task,
Pages, at once vivid and barren,
Yet it will bring solace, of that I'm certain.
The tones of our story, not always bright and fair,
But those black and white tones promise delight.

Unaware of how it all began, I muse,
Where will our story end, I wonder.
I yearn for a fairy-tale ending, always,
A story worth telling, a story worth living.

To end with blank pages, I hate,
I promise to keep it close, ready to fill those empty spaces.
