Come Dine with Me

Ted Goddard

Come with me and eat all you can eat.

We’ll fill our bellies full before we rest then

Beat a steady path on up the street

Following our noses on our feet.

And when our appetites are fully sated

We’ll drink an ale or two and feel elated.

For as observant folk have often stated

To sup and sip with friends is underrated.
