SELF PORTRAIT

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

I know I am dying
As I have been from birth
Only now do I hear the bell
Its echo less distant
Now is the time to tie the parcels
Gather together the loose ends
For I dont intend to take anything with me
But I wish to leave a lot behind.

Fate, that which we are closer to each day, should never be what defines us, but still should be addressed realistically, as stated in this piece. Very clear and a wonderful read
