Unsolvable

I like to fix things and solve problems

Whether it's replacing a broken light bulb in my ceiling

Or solving a hard maths question

 

I'm struggling with not being able to fix this situation

With me in the friend zone

And you completely unaware

 

I'm competing with my mind

To solve a problem

That can't be solved

 

This situation is unfixable and unsolvable

Which causes me to break down

When I realise that every night

 

I cry myself to sleep

Knowing we can't make this work
