Leap Of Faith

John Lee

Sea of life I took the trip

I thought I could drive the ship

The sun is hidden by a storm

Ship has died and it's hull torn

I've lost control it tosses me to and fro

There's a life boat to take and safely row

But there's no land in sight

Fear has taken my might

I grip the wheel and stay aboard

As it sinks I cry "save me Lord"

I see your light from afar

Shining bright as the north star

Footprints on the sea leads home

The voice of waters say "come"

Feet on the lower rail hands clasps the top

Will I leap and run or sink as the Rock

If I lift my hands up high

Will I find yours reaching mine

Was it you leading me this way

For me to take a leap of faith
