I long for a relationship

One that will last a long time

And will end, if it does, on good terms

Who I can rant to for hours about my special interests

And they will never get bored of me

 

I long for a partner

Who helps me through my bad days

And cheers me on through my good

 

I long for a lover

Who will tell me when I cross lines I shouldn’t

And respect the boundaries that I set

 

I long for your touch

Because I want you to be that person

I want you to be that best friend, that partner, that lover
