It was a beautiful afternoon, which was good because the next day we had a heat advisory, and it has been going on ever since with temps as high as 112 with the heat index. Won't be takin' those walks till it cools down. Hope you're having tolerable weather there.
Ohh, it's about -112 here, so some complain! It's pleasant really, and showers at times at present.
Just because we had ONE day at 40C last year, some want it every day, so they say - would be unbearable!

A beautiful feeling indeed. The song of the south was one of my favorites as a child. O what a beautiful morning was a song I sang many times to lift my spirits. This poem brought it back to mind and I thank you for the lift.
Thank you dear friend, I'm so glad the song brought back good memories. Whenever I sing it on my morning walk, I can't help but feel wonderful. Good thing I walk really early because I belt it out, and the neighbors would think I'm mental. Keep it in your heart and on your lips!
