Father oh so violent you were

Oh so scared I was 

I didn't understand what was wrong

Now that I'm grown and see life

NOW I UNDERSTAND 

YOU were scared  for me 

You wanted to keep me safe

You rather hurt me to stop the world from killing me

Now you lay in this bed with your eyes closed

No longer my hero just an old man that needs my care

Father forgive me 

NOW I UNDERSTAND 

GO AHEAD AND REST FEAR NO MORE I WILL BE OK
