I guess I care enough to notice,
that I really just don’t care…
about anything else,
aside from you.
Backlogs of messages and mail,
prove my attention’s been amiss.
While you wear it well,
I need to find a way
To live in my time between you.

Why?
I'm scared of getting so absorbed in a relationship I forget to take proper care of myself.
I may have read it wrong but don't sell yourself short. We should at the very least receive what we give. We need to know our worth.

wonderful clarity
while being true to your poetic potency
modernity is hard to word artistic
so much is blunt confrontation
and/or toxic wordless drama
it doesn't lend itself
for our subtle poetic reveals
(anyway i'm blabbering
just a great read, loved
the sharp conversational tone
bringing in that edge
we need to maintain our boundaries
during such exchanges)
really i could go on, love this
thank you!
