MONSTERS ARE HUMAN

MONSTERS ARE HUMAN

When I cried and cried my eyes out,
Till my tears dried up and ran out,
I became a devil, reduced to a monster.
I wish my mother had taught me
That monsters are human but only free

When things are gettin out of hand
And no, no you just can't anymore pretend,
Its not the circumstances that you're fed up of
Its life, its life that you feel is choking you down,
And all thats left is to scowl, sulk and frown.

When your heart aches and the weight is just too heavy for your soul,
When words aren't enough to fill this void, in your heart full of vows,
When nostalgia hits you bad and all you yearn for is some love and care
And with all that you vent out your emotions that had to be ceased,
Only to see the emptiness in you, day after day, increase.

And all with this trauma, anxiety, and strain
You find yourself growing, and everything changes, again.
You dont belong here.
You feel like a beast runnin' a rat race,
With millions of them at the same normal pace.

Thinking....in your life which you despise
With your real face, you realise
You've attended this costume partyy
Full of jokers and clowns, funny but scary
Feelin' like a mere outcast, nothin more than something filthy.

Anyways surrounded by the so called humans,
I've always felt like a monster,
Knowing that every human has a monster inside them
I just ask myself,
Am i too young to sit in a corner and shred my heart out?
Am i too old to be immature?
Am i too young to get rid of myself?
Am i too young to defy the laws of human nature?
