Tulips

Petrichor of Love

Among the hills, where rivers gently glide,

Beneath the azure sky, in the nature's pride,

I wandered free, with heart and soul beguiled,

Where nature's beauty was beauteously compiled.

Besides a lake, I saw a scene of serene grace,

a host of tulips, dancing with gentle pace,

Their vibrant hues, like rainbows on display,

In waves of bliss, they seemed to sing and sway.

Upon a bank, I paused, enraptured there,

A breeze embraced my face with scented air,

At a distance, tulips emerged in a colourful sea,

Swaying, relishing and forming a joyous company.

Their laughter rippled through the fields so wide,

In radiant petals, blooming with love and pride,

Their whispered secrets echoed through the glen,

A chorus of delight, beyond my ken.

Enamoured by this sight, my heart did soar,

Their beauty touched my soul, forevermore,

With every breath, their fragrance filled the air,

With serene divinity; a moment I'd ensnare.

Within my heart blossomed a love that took flight,

For nature's wonders, bathed in vivid light,

Forever shall these tulips brightly shine,

In my memories, where happiness doth align.
