Go Through It

FallingAwake2

Her rumors swirl,

thickening the air-

I’m closing my ears,

feeling equipped enough

to find out for myself.

A territory worth her defense

proves I’m standing

on this greener grass–

for I can accept that about him,

but I can’t accept

your pull towards information.

Silent– because there’s nothing

to say to someone

who just has to go through it.
