MommaBear23

My kid can ride a roller coaster.

She wants to ride.

She feels safe –

riding this

death defying machine.

I could not—

At her age, I felt unsafe…

Scared of death because I encountered it too often.

It was an unwelcome presence.

Always stalking me-

Stalking my family.

If I died on a foolish ride…

How could I?

Court death.

Ask for it?

Her life feels safe.

She is safe.

Her life feels comfortable.

She is comfortable.

She has what I didn’t.

Somehow, seeing through her eyes,

I

Have

It

Now

Too.

My kid can ride a roller coaster.

    Brilliant!
    (nature's
    full circle, how it's supposed
    to be
we imbue love in our children
    and teach them
so they may awaken in us
    that innate wisdom in love
    showing us
how to live a more rewarding life..)
    Beautiful...
    (I think, in another life
I may have made a decent father
    paint me jealous, lol)

Thank you for your beautiful words. My guess is that you have touched more people than you know, perhaps being a father figure, even if not a 'father'. Blessings to you.
