A Colourless Girl

Nature

There once was a girl,
who could never see the world like an earl.
She one day hoped to see,
the never ending sea.

The moon was shining,
and the people dining.
She could smell the delicious food,
but she never ought to be stood.

The sad girl left her city,
roaming out and giving herself pity.
She then thought that God one day will make her meaningful,
and people being merciful.

As soon as she said the words in her mind,
the boon then came out of the wind.
She now miraculously was a beautiful girl,
having the beautiful green shiny eyes of pearl.

Then her world turned upside down,
only to see the people frown.
For she now was a beautiful, dutiful and intelligent girl,
which now made her twirl.
