In Starlit Grace She Softly Gleams

Petrichor of Love

In starlit grace, she softly gleams,

A twilight's dream in human guise;

Where shadows dance with radiant beams,

In her presence, the defiant beauty lies:

A gentle glow, like moonlit streams,

With heaven's touch, where my longing dies.

No shade too much, no gleam too shy,

Her grace unnamed, untamed by comeliness,

Her raven hair like a moonlit sky,

Falling o'er her face, a work of beauty's caress;

In her tender thoughts, she wonders why,

Her soul, a sojourn of my Love's embrace.

And on her cheeks, and 'bove her brow,

Serenity speaks in volumes deep,

A smile that charms a million vivid vow,

Of days lived well, in kindness keep,

Her heart pure gold, and here I avow,

An innocent love beneath her treasure's reap.
