Trust And Abide

orchidee

Tune: St Anne

'God called great prophets to foretell'

Psalm 125

********

They that trust in the Lord shall be

As the mount Zion, see

Which cannot be removed, does stand

Abides e'er in the land

As the mountains are round about

And do surround, no doubt

Jerusalem, so the Lord is

Rounda bout us, true this

From henceforth even for ever

His presence always there

The wicked shall not their lot spoil

Evil plans not [the] good foil

Do good, Lord, to those that good be

Their upright hearts you see

Though the wicked be led astray

Lead [the] good in your peace-way

Lead us all toward peace and kindness. The wicked need a little more help. Good words Orchi

Thanks SB. The Psalmists call down wrath in some places, upon the wicked!
