When Absolutely Gone
When I am no more and gone ..
I want to be remembered
for the words I wrote, the deeds
I’ve done and for the love
I gave away and freely shared with
absolutely everyone ..

When KP goes, she's gonna be stuffed as a trout on my mantlepiece - taxidermy. lol.
grate, but forget taxidermy Mr. O, uber thought you had your own mantlepiece in the first place
"For the love I gave away freely" YES!! I want to be remembered by the love we shared, and the way we made each other feel (hopefully incredible)!! 💜
Thank you, what more could one possibly ask or want .. 💜
You make everyone you come in contact with feel incredible! You will certainly have that legacy...x
aww gosh, now you gone and made me blush purple 💜x
I'm feeling philosophical this morning and can't help but say (there will be opinions expressed on this) that love always comes with a price. Sometimes it's painful, sometimes bittersweet, and sometimes happiness, but always a price. The pain of separation, the bittersweetness of a temporary state of bliss followed by a breakup, or the happiness where he gives his love and she does likewise, a trade if you will, but nevertheless, a price.
OK, so I guess your poem struck a chord with me. Maybe we all seek the same thing. Well, needless to say I enjoyed your poem. - Phil A.
