Thank you for existing in my life

Without it, I wouldn't know what it feels like

To love someone in a romantic way

 

Thank you for being as kind as you have been to me

Without that kindness, I wouldn't have understood the depth

Of my own emotions

 

Thank you, God, for gracing me with his presence

Without your plan, I wouldn't have made decisions that allowed me

To spend time with my crush

And get to know him better

For putting me into existence at the same time as him

This time might not be the best, but it was made better by him

At least for me it was

Thank you for somehow managing to push through all of this

And make it out alive

I wouldn't be who I am today without his presence

Which only happened because I chose to come here for high school
